Savannah Cat Rescue was founded to ensure that any Savannah cat that ever needs a new home will be well cared for, medically checked and healthy while a forever home is located for them. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue© is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization founded in 2007. We are an all volunteer organizations. 100% of our funding goes toward the cats... no one gets paid a salary. Our mission is to educate pet owners, breeders, and shelters about our breeds, and to place our cats with Forever Families who will give them the proper care and love they deserve. We carefully match cats with their Forever Families by evaluating each cat's personality, temperament, and special needs. Then we determine the best fit for both the cat and the new family. Please note that we do NOT ship cats. Adoption fee is $175 unless otherwise noted on the individual cat bio. This fee allows us to provide excellent vet care for the cats that really need it. The healthy kitties make it possible for the sick ones to be saved.

The Purebred Rescue and Relocation Society provides an email list for cat breeders and cat lovers who rescue purebreds, purebred "copycats", and domestic cats. We rescue purebreds from various situations, including shelters, to make more room there for feral & domestic cats. This is a good list if you want to adopt a rescued purebred cat, or if you are active in rescue. The list catchment area includes the USA and Canada.
